2. History class went outside on friday to shoot off my trebuchet, it didnt work. That sucked.
3. Alex H came over. We hung out. His car broke down. Mom drove us to Hippie Bill's bonfire.
4. Alex slept over. We stayed up till 1:30 talking, we woke up at like 8.
5. Dad drove him to the train station. He left. All in all, it was fun.
6. Dad and I took the train into Philly. I got 100 bucks of birthday money.
7. I shopped for like 3 hours (including sushi lunch and the train back home).
8. I got a lot of things. They are pretty.

3:42

My moms best friend, Mary, and her family are coming down from NY state this weekend. On saturday we are all getting into costume and going to the RenFaire. I might be taking a friend of mine (Alex P) with us, but we dont know yet.

Friday Im probally going to MYAs halloween dance, and monday I do hope I can got trick-or-treating with the gang. It wont ever be like last year, or the year before, but hey, a new year, a new party. Roger and I really want to go to Draculas ball on monday night, because some awesome goth bands are playing. But that means we would get home at around 3 in the morning, and I dont think thats gonna go over too well with my mom.

One last thing: a week from today is my sweet 16. Just letting you all know.

8:46

(Walking Down Nonsensical Lane). So here I am sitting on my bed, thinking. About what to write for the novel, about homework, about music, about projects for school, about knitting, about church, about god, and a lot about people I know.

So, thats the link to my novel. And thats a quick overview about whats happening right now. Not a whole lot. I want to go to Canada, or get away for a weekend. Anyweekend, to go just about anywhere else.

Its 12:13

Uh huh. 12:13. Not a whole lot to say. Not a lot has happened of late. My life consists mostly of chatting on the internet, talking on the phone, doing history notes and geometry homework, going to school and all its crazy classes, going to friends houses/parties, building the trebuchet, and reading the creepy book.

I also have this weird tendency of reading over my journals. I have a lot of journals, one for pretty much every six months of my life. Most of them are of specific events. Like, I have a camp journal for every year I went to camp. I have journals for that time between the start of school and my birthday. My life is verry badly documented. As many journals as I have, they mostly talk about fights I have with my parents, boys I obsessed over, girls I wanted to kiss, music I wanted to buy and the teachers I wanted dead. I was allways afraid of writing down what I felt, because I was afriad that someone would read them, and then blackmail me. I didint and dont want that.

1. Practice Suck Ass Tests
2. I didnt finish part of the Math Section
III. On monday nothing interesting happened
IV. Tuesday, was, as normal boring
1. Mom and Dad didnt come home in time for my guitar lesson. Grr.
2. Thats about it
V. Wednesday was today

9:02

I miss China. I miss just about everything about China, and the people I went on the trip with. I miss the challenges, and the physical excertion. I miss a lot of the encounters we had, I miss staying with the locals, and I miss living in a place where I had to get by on my own. One of the things I miss the most is the others I went on the trip with. I miss fighting over sleeping arrangements, and who rode in what car with who. I have great memories of some of the guys and me leaving at midnight to go find a club, or at least a good game of pool or ping pong. I miss the smell of the mountians, and breaking the red rules. I miss a lot of things, it was simple but complicated. I remember when we all went to the open air market in Kashgar, before we all knew each other, running around the market trying not to lose each other. I miss China.

Today I slept till noon, then sat around and watched movies. I didnt do anything all day. The parents and I had dinner. Dad and I got into a big yelling match, that was the only interesting thing all day. I talked to a friend on the phone and have been hanging out in my room online since. Mostly boring day, could be worse, could be better.

11:34

Well, this is my first repeat of a number. 11:34. Fancy.

So, today nothing opf interest happened till after school. Alex P, Liam, the twins (Rick and Greg), Andrew and I all walk in the rain to the middle school where Liam (with pins in his leg) gets Alex's dad to drive him to Alex house (with Bailey, Alex's sister). The rest of us walk in the rain. We arrive at his place a little while later, soaking wet. I steal and change into a pair of Alex's pants, when they set up the X-Boxes. We split into teams and start duking it out Halo style. Team Pink (my team) wins a few, the other team (unnamed) wins a few. Dom arrives a bit later, we play some more, get three pizzas, and watch some Kung Pow. All in all, a good time had by all. I very much like hanging out with the geek guys (and Bailey) playing Halo. My friend, Chris never shows up. But Alexs friend, John comes around after work. He arrived just in time for about one last hour of Halo. At about 8:30 every one leaves, 'cept Alex, John and me.

The three of us get into Johns car, and drive to my palce, so I can ditch my stuff and find out when I have to be home (10ish). We all drive over to Wayne, where we hang out and talk till like 9:45. John and I drop Alex off at his house then John drops me off at my place. Hes a nice kid, so it was cool talking to him in the car.

School ended for me today. I have thursday, friday and the weekend off. Aww yeah. Sadly, I have the PSATs on saturday morning. And I have the youth retreat that I dont really want to go to anymore, this weekend. It seems like I just dont fit into my youth group anymore, I just have different opinions on prett ymuch everything. Like abortion and gay people (bi, lesbo, gay, whatever). I find it really annoying that we had a whole youth group dedicated to praying for women who get abotions and hoping they realize its wrong. I was like.. uh.. no, its their right o choose! These people (my youth group) has no right to tell others what they should and should not do. Lets go with it made me mad, and I openly prayed (when it was my turn) for women to be able to choose what they think is right for themselves, if it is or is not abortion. Everyone was.. shocked, it was funny.

Thats about it.... I do hope I can get out of the retreat, and have a weekend for me and myself. Like building my trebuchet, and going to the football game. Along with hanging out with friends and doing that homework I need to catch up on.

7:41

Ok, so.. Mom took me to a boring confrence. It was boring. But hey, I got to miss school. But the most funny thing happened today. RJ (Roger, my brother) made this gread impression of a turkey being hit by a folding chair. Man, my family made him do the impression like four times so we could keep laughing. I laughed so hard it started hurting. He is one funny little man. Keep up the good work, RJ, keep it up.

Anyway, Im doing well. Its great seeing as I only have two days of school this week (would have been three, but since I missed monday). Tomorrow should be regular and boring. But wednesday should be awesome. Right after school I am going over to Alex P's house for a party. A pathetic, geeky party, but party none the less. Its almost like a DnD party, but its for Halo. I am a geek, on the inside.

This weekend is the youth retreat. Its weird, becuase I wanted to go when I signed up, but I no longer want to. I just havent been as intrested in church and youth group as I was before. Ah well, crazy Rachel and my crazy life.

10:11

I realized that I didnt say in any posts that Alex H and I were going out, well we arent anymore. I must admit, its gonna be interesting telling my parents. But I think, in the end, it was a good choice for both of us. Its the most wonderful thing, having a friend like him, and friends is all.

Anyway, he came over saturday at 2, we hung out, had food, and went to see Serenity. That would be the SECOND time Ive seen it. I loved the show Firefly, it has to be one of my favorite shows ever. But Serenity, it was aweosme, but it just sort of ended. There wasent anymore. We then got a little lost going home, heh heh heh, Im no good at directions. Anyway, we got home then a little while later we drove off to The Gazebo coffee house, we got hot choclolate (and cookies), sat in an awesome white chair and listened to Phylis and Freddy play live. We left early, seeing that he had to be home at 10ish. At around 9:3o he left, and I went inside (out of the rain) to watch a movie then head off to bed pretty late.

Its sunday, and the day will probally be spent sitting around reading and doing homework. Grr. Of course, Im gonna be going to church, and maybe (maybe) youth group. I dont know yet. Tomorrow, monday, I most likely wont be at school. Mom is taking me into Philly for a project shes doing. I get to be a test subject, awww yeah.

3:39

Last year our school put on Romeo and Juliet, I was stage manager, and hence learned the play real well. So, today I see that the version with Leo DeCaprio is on. Oh yeah, hot guy, great story, romance. Awww yeah. Just when Romeo falls into the pool (right after they have crazy sex), I start thinking about how awesome it would be if they didnt die. I think that the stuipd friar should have called Romeo, and not sent snail mail. Roger and I think that on the DVD, they should have an alternate ending where the friars plan works, and everyone lives. Alternate endings rock my small self centered universe. Romeo and Juliet was the very first historical account of emo kids.

Ok, so today was the feild trip for honors American Lit classes to go see A Member Of The Wedding. We go to our first two classes all regular. Italian, homeroom, and gym, we almost won in frisbee, no joke, ten seconds more and we would have won. Grr. On the busses we go, and drive to the playhouse. Britt sits on one side of me, and Bill on the other. Bill and I made paper hats before the play started. The first act was boring. Intermission was fun, Bill stole my shoes, Britt was being annoying, so I stole Bills seat. The second act was boring. Intermission was again, fun. Bill again, stole my shoes and re-stole his seat. The third act was (can you guess?) boring. The drive back was ok, we had lunch, and then arrived back at school. Bio and Sculpture class later, I was out for the weekend.

Today (its friday) RJ and I might be going to go see a movie later when mom gets home. I weant to see Thumbsucker, I think it looks aweosme. I have no doubt that hes gonna take mom to see Serenity, again.

Thats all for now, kiddos.

3:14

Homecoming was awesome. Alex H came over to my house at around 1:30 and we hung out 'till about 7. We got dressed then mom took some pictures (to be posted, eventually), and off we went to homecoming. The dance was pretty cool we had a good time, pretty much dancing talking and so forth. Then Alex and I drove Ed and Ann over to Katies street, so we could get directions to Bills after party. We arrived at Bills house at maybe 11, the bonfire was allready going by the time we got there. The bonfire was amazing, we sat around lit incense, and listened to Pink Floyd. Alex is convinced that I have some mighty aweosme friends. I deffinatly do, you people rock. Mom wanted me home by midnight, so we had to leave early (too bad). We got back to my house just after 12, he left soon thereafter at maybe... 12:20 or so. All in all, I would say that was the most aweosme homecoming. Alex and I commented on peoples clothes and counted the crying girls. In total we counted I think 4 or 5 crying girls, and one yelling match. Im 100% sure that if I had gone into the girls bathroom, I would have seen many more girls weeping.

Sunday was ok, I didnt go to youth group, seeing as I wasent in the mood for defending my views on abortion to a bunch of Catholics. Monday, was a monday. I dislike mondays. Tuesday we had off, so I pretty much sat around and took naps all day. Today, was just like another monday. But it wasent monday! Grrr. I think in total, about 8 people told me that I looked hung over. I was just sick, and the stupid nurse wouldnt let me go home, or even take any medicine, seeing as I didnt have my health form in. Its not nice to deprive little sick kids of medicine. Anyway, that was my weekend/week. Friday I have a feild trip to see a play with my english class. Then saturday Alex and I are going to go see Phyllis and Freddy play at the Gazebo Coffee House.

One last thing: I am also addicted to The New Pornographers. So addictive. And the song Mexican Radio, oh man, so awesome.

10:29

Right, so friday was all normal. Nothing too interesting, till the pep rally. It lasted about an hour and a half, it was pretty cool, sitting on the bleachers talking and watching the sexytastic cheerleaders and kick line. Alex P gave me a piggy back ride all the way to my bus (its a long distance carrying me and both our backpacks. He asked if I wanted to come over, I said sure, so then we walked over to meet his dad (in Alexs blue mustang) at the middle school. I got to sit on the back of the car, with the top down. I allways wanted to do that. We went home and pretty much hung out for a while, it was fun. A little later we dropped by his place of work (Braxtons), then for some food at Wawa. Then we quickly went over to my place so I could get my phone and drop off my school shit. We went back to his house then walked over to the game. We hung out at the playgroud for a bit, then walked around the stadium looking for people.

We of course, ran into that guy (I dont know his name), I see him all the time at games. We hung out with Ed, Ann, and Bill, like we do all the time. We sat in a "C" for Conestoga, on the other teams side. It seems like every football game Bill and I wear the other teams colours. The last home game the other teams colous were black and white, and I wore my black skull shirt. This homecoming game I wore green, the opposing teams colous were green. I guess I just own enough maroon ('stogas colours). Alex and I left early, then hung out 'till mom picked me up at like 10:30.

Today is homecoming. I have this lovely white dress, its so pretty. Alex H is coming over at like 2 today, we are most likely going to go see a movie before Hcoming. Im betting on Serenity. Firefly, my favortie TV show ever, has been made into a movie, I do hope they dont kill the plot.

Thats all for now.
Oh, I am so addicted to the album John Henry, by TMBG. Its like being an 11 year old geek.
