Going Away Details

Let me keep it simple: I am spending a week up on the Cape, then I am going to leave on a plane from NYC to go to England. I am spending a month studying Studio Art and Bioethics at Oxford college in England. After that I am going for a week in London, then I am coming home. In total, I will be gone for six weeks. I leave today for Boston, then on the 30th for oxford, I get back on the 7th of august (I think, keep in touch for more details).

Ok, so, want to reach me? Email me at: Sporko@gmail.com. I will also be posting photos of my journey at: www.flickr.com/photos/sporko . This blog may or may not continue, that soley depends on how I feel and how much I have to say.

I kept it simple, and I wish you all a fun summer months, doing what ever your doing. Rock on.

Today is sunday. Friday after school I went over to Kavita's house and we hung out and went to the mall, then to Mandie's pool party. That night Sam slept over, we were stupid and didnt turn on the airconditioning. Saturday morning we dropped her off at her house then went to the race tracks. I played every race and won 10 of 12 races. Sadly the two I lost at, were the two I spent the most amount of money on. I managed to not gain or lose any money at all. Started with 50, ended with 50. RJ lost more than 30 (he was ashamed and wouldnt tell us exactly how much), dad lost about 25 and mom lost about 15. I rock.

We celebrated father's day early and had crab for dinner, then RJ and I presented our giant novelty card. It was about 2 feet tall and 8 inches across, it was simple and homemade with a paper cutout of dad on the inside (I put his three favorite things with him (cigars, chess and cats)). He really liked the card. Yay.

Today I saw An Inconvient Truth. And I STRONGLY suggest that you all go out and see it. It is perhaps my most favortie documentay ever. Really, wonderfull. See it.

Last sunday I didnt do anything, then monday sucked too. Finals started tuesday, tuesday night I went out with a friend, we just kind of hung out at talked. Hes a good kid, a lot like me (A LOT!). I got in rather late, then the next day more finals then I wenty to hang out with Dougie and his friends in West Chester. At around 6 I realized that I didnt have a way of getting home (and no one at the party could drive me home). So a few frantic phone calls later I got Sean to pick me up at the train station. If it went for him I would have walked. Ew. Anyway, today, thursday, after finals a whole bunch of people came over to play DnD, then Dougie came over again. The DnD gang made pancakes. Yummay. Dougie and I watched Reefer Madness. I love that musical more than pretty much any other.

Anyway, friday is a half day then Im going to a pool party. And thats about it. Saturday is.. I dont think anything, then sunday (fathers day). And monday Im hanging out with a friend. Oh, RJ's book comes out in stores on monday. Everyone go out and get a copy. Do it.

Rock on.

Tonight Im keeping it simple, due to being tired.

Friday night I went skank shopping with Kendra. Skank shopping is going into all the skan stores looking for bathing suits and clubbing clothes. Saturday I want shopping again with RJ for his outfit. Saturday at 6 everyone shows up (RJ, Amber, David, Laura) we all get in the limo and drive off to meet Dougie at Astral Plane (a fantastic restraunt). We get there, and Doug changes so he looks like the rest of us (all totally decked out in black makeup and clothes). We eat, talk and laugh then off back to the limo (all sitting on each other to fit in). We arrive at Dracula's Ball, at Shampoo, at a little after 9. A short wait in line, some laughs, a few almost falling overs and we are in the door. Tickets are gotten, we go inside and then we split up.

Dougie and I scope out the place and find a place to sit (near the hot tub), eventaully we do a little dancing, and then to sit on the couch in the 80's room for 2 hours listening to music, talking, and scoping out what everyone else is wearing. Goth Minister comes on at.. about 12ish. They were ok, except that no one could understand a word (not a native speaker, so it was understandable). The whole gang leaves at around 1:30 and we take the limo to Lorenzo's on south street for pizza. While we were eating we got interviewed about the pizza. After pizza we drove to drop Dougie off, then we all went back to my house. All in all, it was pretty awesome, I had a great time. Happy fucking 18th birthday, Roger.

Sunday sucked, because I had to spend the whole day in close confines with my dad. I never really minded him, untill recently. We all went walking at Penns Landing, and it was boring. Today is monday, and tomorrow and the two days after that we have final exams. Wednesday afternoon should be good, seeing as I am spending the day with Dougie and his friends. Friday he goes away to somewhere, and on tuesday I go to Boston/NYC till I have to get on a plane to go to Oxford. Needless to say, this will be the last time I see him for a while. :(

Well, I thought this was to be a short post. Guess not. Peace.

OK, lets see. On friday I went driving with Sean, then to Handels for ice cream. It was raining the whole time, but while we were driving to WaWa it stared pouring. After WaWa's we went to visit Kendra, sadly she wasent home. :(. I got home at a reasonable hour, it was fun. I like ice cream. Saturday I went to hang out with Dougie in the city. We sat around and listened to music, had a bit of a fight and ended up just hanging out till I went home on the train. I met two people on the train, a guy named Matt who had some awesome tatoos, and was rather creepy. And another guy, the ticket taker, he was hitting on me. Ew.

This is my last week of school (next week is just finals), it should be interestingly sucky. Joy. Have a good week to everyone else!
