So you want to get in touch with me or learn about what I am doing in China, huh? Well, you have two choices.

One (1): You can email me. I love emails. Now, if you do email me, you run the risk of (1) me not getting your eamil due to the interweb and its screwy ways, (2) me not getting any emails becuase I cant reach Gmail due to the interweb in China, (3) me getting your email, and not answering it, or (4) me not bothering to check my email at all while I am in China becuase I dont have the time. If you choose to email me none the less: Sporko@gmail.com

Two (2): You can visit the Where There Be Dragons website (www.wheretherebedragons.com) (they are the people who set up the programs). You can click on the link that says "Yak Yak" and then click "Current Programs" and finally scroll down till you see "Silk Road, Summer 2005" (thats the actual program I am going on). You can then click on the posts you want to read. Simple. Or! To make it even faster, I was nice enough to give you the URL, so you dont have to follow my instructions: http://www.wheretherebedragons.com/bulletinboard/bulletin.htm

Have no worries, live your life, peace, and I will miss you,
Rachel

Where There Be Dragons is the most aweosme program. I posted a message on my groups forum, and I got two replys by other kids. One girl named Steph, she is real nice, and a guy named Issac, he seems cool too. Bothe are older than me, I feel mighty young.Of course, I cant wait. The days are going by so slow before my journey. I leave Monday morning, and it seems like thats weeks away not only days. Four more days and then Im out of here. Its nerve racking but so exciting. On sunday night I will be sure to go to church and youth group. I emailed Mark (the youth group leader) and asked him to please pray for me. He told me of course he would, he is a great guy like that. I love my youth group, and I am real sad that I wont be seeing them and Im sure I will miss some aweosme youth group events. Damn.

Bad dreams suck. I woke up this morning with a memmory of a bad dream. Sadly, now I cant remember what the dream was. But! Im pretty sure it was about my family. In a way where I hate them. I dont know, whatever.

Besides that, I have yet another doctors appt. today, then mom and I have some more shopping for my trip. And last but not least, with luck, Alex P. will call me back and we will hang out. But I have this feeling thats not going to happen today.

Thank allah! Im back in the wonderful world of Chesterbrook (commonly know as Chesterbrizzle). Anyway, when our family is pulling into our parking space we see that there is a red couch on the street. RJ (brother) and I go to see if its suitable to put in our basement, it is! So.. *cue Alice's Restaraunt music* RJ and ia try to pick it up and move it.. we cant, so we enlist some guy who was driving by to help us. RJ and this guy hoist up the red couch and bring it around the house to the basment door. They put it down and the guys goes away. Thanks guy, it was real kind of you! Anyway, dad come out, yells at us, he says its ok if mom says its ok. Mom says its fine. We attempt to get it into the house but all we really did was sit on it. It was offically dubbed the "red marshmellow." RJ and I decied that becuase dad dosent want it, that we rolled it slowly back to the curb (with a little help from my skateboard, but then we thought it (the skateboard) might break). All in all, it was real fun. But man, I wish we could have kept it!

Harvard, Mass. allways was a nice town. And of course, the moment I move away the town (and the people) become cooler. On thursday I went up to visit (ok, we went up to fix up the house so its nice for the new potential buyers). Roger and I walked down to the town pond where we ran into some old friends. Sebbie, Kyle, Emma, Roger, three other girls and I hung out in the boat launch area. Sebbie jumped in (clothes and all), Kyle got pulled in, and in the end everyone was sopping wet 'cept Roger, one girl and I. All in all, it was nice seeing Sebbie again, and real nice to have a genuine Harvard time in my old loving town. Then we went to Cape Cod (oh dear lord), where all goodness failed. I really dislike the cape, its filled with old people and beaches. Its my grandmas birthday so we got her a cake, and all that. I like cake its the only good thing about this place.

We are probally going to leave sunday. And the rest of the time I spend in Philly (home that is) ought to be packed. Good god, I have to get more equipment for my trip, my mom and I think I need another haircut (becuase my hair is just waaaay to long to stand), two more shots (youch), and with luck I will be spending some time with Alex and maybe possibly hopefully with lots of luck I will see Dougie before I leave (the 27th, thats a tuesday, I think).

Aint saying my goodbyes quite yet though.

So there I am, last day of school, most classes let us out eary. Gym is the last class of my freshman year. I get on the bus and sing along to rap with Dan. Get home, chill for a bit. Then off I go to the pool party at Bens house. It was a good time. Ben, Gus, Evan, Roger, Dougie and I were at the party. Dougie and I spent some quality time together. I managed to hit him in the eye with a water nerf ball, and then get a pretzel in his eye too. I sure am good at that.

We played in the pool, then went to have Captin Awesomes (ginger ale, cranberry juice, and lime), next we told ghost stories under half the pingpong table. Ping pong was played, along with general hangout time. Dougie and I chilled on the love seat while Enternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was playing. Everyone else played Magic, and talked about DnD. Everyone left (sad goodbye), Roger and I stayed and watched TV with Ben till our 'rents picked us up at about 9:30. 'Rents forgot about us.

Today, Alex and I went to the mall, in search for a birthday present for his girlfriend. He and I got her some little things and we went into Build A Bear. It was soo funny watching Alex try to get it dressed. I got us tickets to see Batman, and it was surprising how good it was. Way better than Star Wars, and the story line went a lot smoother than it did in the comics (yes, Ive read them all). In all: good times, good times.

Well, I got meself a haircut. I once knew a girl named Starr, she was the most beautiful girl I have ever met. I was in 7th grade, she was a junior. She helped teach my art class, and we hung out together every once in a while at the Yarn Loft (this place near the old post office, in my old town). I loved that, you know how it is.. when you love the attention of an older kid.

Anyway, she had the most awesome hair cut, and the coolest clothes, and of course the best grades. Well, I wated to be just like her. So, I now offically have the cool haircut (so happy). The clothes? Nah, I couldnt pull that off. And the grades? Im trying.

Broadway is great, we (my family and Amber) went to see Avenue Q. Now that is a pretty amusing show. The voices were awesome, totaly awesome. I got the soundtrack, and its not as cool as the show I saw (original cast vs. the people I saw), but funny none the less.

Not much else happened, except RJ and I got some DVDs (*cough*), and I got a cool hippy shirt. So yeah, nothing to report on. At all.

I do hope I cant hang out with my friends before I leave, but how my 'rents have planed from now till then, looks like I wont be seeing anyone. Going up to the cape, for like... a week. I really dont like it up there. So, I have wednesday (school offically ends tuesday), and a few days right before I leave. So, this ought to be fun.

Heat stroke. I feel as if I spend anymore time out in the sun, or in a hot area I will die of heat stroke. It feels as if the air around me is on fire. The last class of today was gym. I played basketball, and my team of 3 lost to their team of 3. They had Nigel, we have this theory that he is only good at basketball because he is black. We are racist pigs.

Hero is a good movie. My brother and I are engrossed in the beautiful secenery and lovely stylizezd fighting. I love the weapons, the music and the calligraphy. Pretty (Refrence to Krissy).

Exams, Italian in specific. I am a little more than half over with it. I think I am doing ok, I am not such a fan of verbs and their particular meanings. I just suck at verbs. 4 more exams to go. Then summer. Man oh man, this year went fast. Fastest and best (grades wise) year so far.

Missed Church

Missing church. I feel bad. Dad dosent want to go, because I spent the whole day working at the church picnic. He thinks thats enough job. But yet, he boasts about how the two of us are going to be getting confirmed early next year.

Exams. Here they come. Sort of like how you can feel a cold coming on, or your about to eat MSG packed food, but you dont do anything to stop it from coming. Studing is overrated. Lots of things are overrated.

Concerts, I went to two this weekend. Freddy and Phyllis played at the Gryphon on friday. Townhall played in the school courtyard on saturday. It was fun, I love spenind time with friends and dancing. Most of all dancing. I suck at it, but my "free spirit" needs to get out. Another reason why I have a tendency to walk down the halls waving my arms like I am wasted, my "free spirit" needs its space.
