Another exciting day at the old Hobbs' paper bag. For one we will not be living in this paper bag in two weeks. Then we move to another paper bag commonly known as the death house.

The exciting part would be having a friend over. As you might as weel know his name is Alex/Scott. But he likes being called Alex. He comes over and eats lunch. Then we (Alex, RJ and I) watch a little less than 5 hours of this great series called Firefly. It will soon be made into a movie, and I cant wait. I love the seires so much, its aweosme. After the first 10 mins, Alex loved it too. We then have dinner. Alex and I make cookies, and eat everyone of them, but two. That cant have been good for us at all. I think mom and dad wanted some, too bad. Its their own fault they didnt grab any of the yummay cookies. We talk a walk down to some benches near the stream, and sit around and talk for a while. Before heading back home, a few mins after arriving home we go walking again to the playground near CBrook Shopping Center. At about 9:30 we head back, and he left at a little after 10. I learned some mighty interesting things about his life. Mostly things I sort of knew about, but one big surprise.

Id say it was good to see him. He is one of my best friends and I am glad he is there to talk to. And he seems mighty glad to have me to talk to too. Anyway, I will be seeing him again on sunday at Olivas party. That ought to be a fun party, all my old camp friends should be there. Minus Preston, who wont, 'cause he is not a good man meat, and is a bad bad New Yorker. *Scowl*

Otherwords, good day. No guitar practice, gots to do that. Or double time tomorrow.

Saturday morning I wake up to dad telling me he is going to drop me off at Gabos birthday party two hours early. I take a shower, get dressed and go downstairs, propose the idea to just drop me off a little late rather than really early. The whole family goes into the city, dropping RJ off at the train station so he can go visit Amber and Aly in Princeton. Dad gets out of the car at the house he and mom will be looking at buying, and mom drives me to 7 blocks away from South Street and tells me to call her when I want to get picked up. 7 blocks of walking later I arrive at the pawn shop that will later sell me my guitar. I browse and then just plain ask what a good but cheap guitar is. The sales man finds me a Ibanez V V70NT, I like the sound and thinks its mighty pretty and ask how much it cost. Both my parents want to know how much it cost and I aint telling sorry boys. All you need to know is that I pain 35 buck in quarters and all my regular bill money except my lucky blue 2 (lucky 'cause its a 2 and blue 'cause of my wallet it tuns money blue).

After a little over an hour of me walking around South Street mom picks me up and drives me to The Quarry where Gabo is holding her 16th birthday party. Everyone swims around and tries to stand or sit on this log that is just floating in the water. Food arrives thanks to Gabos dad, eating and jello contest happens, along with making insence holders. Some more swimming and then filling the cars with teenages to go back to Gabos house. Some people go outside to play twister while the rest of us stay inside of sit on the couches to watch RHPS (Rocky Horror Picture Show) and as allways sing along to all the songs. A bit later presents are opened then some more RHPS. And then, BAM! POW! My mom is there to pick me up.

I get home and mom and dad drive off to go pick up RJ. I walk in a see sitting on the couch a gig bag with my guitar inside. Along with an electric tuner, picks, song book, and strap. Thanks to my mom for getting me all that. All I bought was the actual guitar, so I guess mom thought I really was serious about it, serious enough to get me everything else I needed.

Today my family was supossed to go paintballing but since its raining a little too hard its not gonna work out too well. In all honesty, RJ and I would still be playing, a little rain dosent hurt half as much as a few paintballs. But mom and dad say its raining too hard. Ah well maybe next weekend.

Oh everybody! I had a great day today (oh yeah, so happy)! Last night Scott/Alex (his real name is Alex, we used to call him Scott) and I were talking and we decied that we were going to hang out today. So he drives over, oh yeah, he can drive, took him an hour to get to my house. We sat around on the couch and watched Versus (freakin aweosme zombie movie), then we helped dad make dinner and then ran away to Valley Forge (to get out of helping anymore). We walked down to this cool little island (everyone whose been down there names it (example: Tuckers Island), a little wading in the water and trying to pursuade Alex to go swimming in the river. I would only go swimming if he would. He didnt want to get wet. The two of us arrive back late for dinner, eat, clean up and then head up to my room. Where we sat around for a while just talking about everything pretty much. I think one of the best things about him (besides his really long aweosme hair and his just being Scott/Alex) would have to be the fact that he allways have something to talk about. I dont think we have ever, in over two years, run out of things to talk about when we are together. It was sad saying goodbye, but I know I will see him at Olivias party on the 4th. So all is good. It was so great to see him.

On last thing, before I post this. I am planning on buying a guitar. I found a real nice one for only 113, totally really cheap. Sadly, I need a lot more money if I want extra strings, a gig case or atuner. So, I am gonna buy the guitar. Alex/Scott, being the most generous person alive is saying that when my birthday (november2) comes around and there is something for my guitar that I dont have yet he will buy it for me. Oh man, hes so nice.

So yesterday I do nothing till about 3:30 when Chris and I decided that we are going to go swimming. He picked me up (in his pretty sweet looks-like-everyother-white-car) at about 4. We head on over to the Y. Its in this big mansion with some pretty sweet grounds. We swam, went down a cool little kid waterslide and sat in the sun. A short walk to a gross pond then an old rusty jungle gym (neither of us have any balance, I cant do pullups, he got rust on his white shirt, we found a cool SpongeBob hat, and he was afriad to jump from one peice of wood to another). We drove back to Chesterbrook and had some dinner at a greasy burger place, we walked around Wilson Park and then he drove me home. He talked to my parents for a bit then he left. Alltogether I think it was a good time.

P.S. Some time soon my camp friends will be getting together to hang out in NJ, oh yeah!

So I go up to Boston (MA) to visit my grandparents. Totally normal boring visit (except that Mary and Mike were there). Then we drive down to New Milford (CT) to pick up Roger from Bucks Rock Summer Camp. I love BR, and so does Roger. This year mom and I arrive and run into Aly and Amber along with tons of others. We find Roger and spend the afternoon eating dinner and hugging people. Since it was festival day, everyone was picking up their kids. So a lot of people left before Footloose was performed. It was really well done, Melony, Sam and Ezra did great jobs. Im happy I ran into Mattias, we went to camp the same year, and then he pretty much did the same thing I did. His sister went this year and he went to Italy (my brother went and I went to China).

So, thats a real short overview of what I did. Woo!

First off: To my good friend Alex The Panther Barron, congrats on getting your permit, and the new car. Take me driving!

Second off: Going out to the movies with Dougie, I like movies.

Third off: Lucky me is going to Cape Cod to visit the g'parents.

Fourth off: THEN lucky me (now its lucky, honest) gets to go pick up RJ (Roger, my older brother) from BR (Bucks Rock, my old camp). Cant wait, 'cause I love everything and everyone in that place, cant wait to see Preston Man Meat, and Little Ben (along with Scott/Alex, Aly, Amber, and the reast of the gang).

Last off: I made cookies and I, for once, did NOT burn them. Boo yeah!

At around noon yesterday I walked over to Britts house to hang out. Shanelle was there, and we got a ride to her house in Berwyn. We hung out at a few random peoples house from noon 'till about 7. Then we took the train over to MYA (the gay straight alliance in Wayne), we went to the meeting, where I saw Emily (yay!), the meeting this week was about jobs and coming out to people at work. So, it was cool. Then we went outside (we met two nice girls who just loved Shanelle) and just hung out for like half an hour before going to The Gryphon for some tea and friends. Britt and Shanelle hung out outside but I went in to converse with loving Chris Palmer and the like. We scouted hott gay guys and talked about China and college.

I stayed out from 12noon to about 10:30, and all in all I had a good time. The friday after next we will most likely be doing the same thing, but staying out a little later and maybe a sleepover at Britts house. I sure am glad to be back and its great to see all my friends.
