Emergency Lights

The Flaming Lips concert was on the 31, the same day I failed my drivers test. But the concert was so amazing, I pretty much forgot untill today (the second) when I rememberd I still cant legally drive on my own. Anyway, Gabo put the concert really well in her blog (see links below), the concert was unbeliveable. Dougie, Gabo, Mike (and two of his friends) and I were literally 15 feel from the stage. Close enough to make eye contact with Wayne Coyne, it was unexpected but so wonderful.

Due to lack of time, I am not going to describe every single song and what happened. Plus, Gabo described everything really well. The hampster ball rolled right over us, and we got to touch Wayne, the confetti was everywhere the fans were yelling so lound and the drugs were well apparent. It was amazing. I did get a shirt, the light blue The Flaming Lips Will Save The World shirt, and I love it!

Tonight is the second and the second Dracula's Ball I will attend, RJ and I are going, and I dont know if its good or not. I like to dance and all that, but its just not the same as going to a Lips concert, not happy and up, but goth and downer music. AH well, still fun.
