Emergency Lights

I had a really good weekend. Friday I stayed after school to work on Music Man. Then dad picked me up, we went home, had food then he drove me to Emily's house for a sleepover. Em and I went out into Wayne, we went to MYA, then hung out of the Gryphon with Steven and Chris P and Bridget. They put lots of black eyeliner on me. Then her mom picked us up and we went back to her house and talked, played guitar, then went to bed pretty late.

We woke up late, my dad picked me up, drove home so I could change and eat. Then he drove me over to Stoga so I could paint the sets for Music Man. At 3:30 I started walking to Alex's house for his party. I ran into Liam and Chris who were looking for Rick (he was supossed to meet them at Stoga). We drove in Liams ghetto car to the WaWa for some snacks then back to Stoga (where we found Rick).

We were the first at Alexs house. We pretty much stood around talking till everyone got to his house, it was real comfortable. Once everyone was there, we went outside to try and set up the tent, we gave up. Then we all went inside, hung out talked to his parents (who are cool), played truth or dare then went back outside for a bonfire, it died because of the wind. But it was fun to watch the boys try to keep it lit. A lot of people sword fought with random metal poles. It was fun to watch and make sexual inuendoes.

We all went inside, played with the sex fuzzy dice. We all fought over seats and watched Cry Wolf, I sat with Chris and Liam (who ganged up and tickled me, arrgh). After the movie we ate cake, taked with his parents, then people started leaving. John and I watched Monty Python till eveyone ese had left and Alex kicked us out at 11. He drove me home.

So all in all, it was a good weekend. But today I have to write my first draft of a 10 page paper that I havent even started. And do other bad homework. This week I stay after school till six or later every night becuase it is Music Man's tech week. I am pretty excited, I love tech week.

Saturday I went to see Tristram Shandy with my family. It was not as good as we thought it would be. I was really dissapointed. Sunday I kindda just hung around my house all day. Monday morning Bill, Katie, David, Christina and Calvin showed up at my house. They all went and played DnD with RJ. Apparently it was cool. Today was tuesday, and I stayed late to help with stage crew, Ill be doing spot for the actual show. I also got an email from Oxford. I have been accepted to spend the summer studying at Oxford. I applied to study Psych and Photo, but I applied too late, so I got my second choices. Studio Art as my major and Bioethics as my minor.

So all in all, it was ok.

This week (saturday to saturday) has been a week with lots of happenings. I cant figure out if it was really good or really bad.

Last saturday Chris came over and we went out walking and took lots of cool photos. Sunday it snowed a lot. Monday we had a two hour delay, and school was you know, it was school. Tuesday was Valentines Day, Chris came over and we went out to eat sushi with my family. Wednessday was boring, I did get to develop some film in photo, so that was a plus. Thursday was a normal school day, I made contact sheets (that I havent seen yet) in photo, we had a fun time making them in a rush.

Then on thursday night Chris and I broke up, I think we dated for a little over 3 months. We broke up because we need time to be happy. Its sad, because I had a lot of fun with him, even if it didnt seem like I was having fun, I was. But it is also happy, becuase we both need things that we had before, but the other cant provide right now, and its time to go out and get thoes things.

Friday I went to school, then got home and went out. You know, need to get my mind off things. I went into Wayne and went to MYA, I met up with some good friends. Palmer and Emily Combe were there, it was good to see them. I met a few new people (who I do hope to see again) Bridget, Joe and Steven (and his silly quarter-loafers). I did a lot of dancing and complaning about the DJ.

Today is saturday. And I will be going into the city sometime today. My mom, brother and I are gonna go see Tristram Shandy. Then maybe some shopping on South Street. Im doubting it will be a fun day. But at least Im getting out of the house.

This was mostly a not good week. Some sucky things happened. But looking back, I had some good times, too. I had a ham sandwitch fight with Millie, I greatly helped out a friend of mine and I got a lot of work done (still got a lot of work for tommorow though).

Anyway, yesterday at like.. 7ish, I went over to Chris' house. David, George, Chris and I watched a really bad movie (The Island). It was silly and bad, just one long (over two and a half hours) chase scene. So that was cool. All in all, it was an ok friday.

I do hope today is better.

Today I had the most awkward experience ever.

Nothing really new this week. Today was mighty sucky, though. School was boring as shit, nothing new there. But we did get our report cards.. most of my classes stayed at the same B level. I dropped a lot in Italian and Euro, in Italian I went from an 80 to a 60, and in Euro I went from a 90 to a 79. I went home, and called Chris. We went up to CBrook Shopping Center, got some shit at the Rite Aid for a friend of mine, and then got some food for my dad at the store. We went home, dropped the stuff off, and went out to take some photos. I got some cool looking trees, and I took a little photo shoot of Chris (he looks good in the baby blue Cirque shirt I got him). Then we just kindda wandered around the paths of CBrook. So, thanks, to him, for making my day really awkward then not so bad afterall.


So I finished my personal statement, and I am sending it in on friday (after I photcopy my manscript). I am rather excited, I really want to get in!

Well, it was an ok January. Not amazing, not horrible. The first day of Feburary was shit though. I woke up late, got to school, went to about 5 mins of Italian class (first period), felt really sick, went to the nurse, and went home. I slept for... about 4 hours (I am still really sleepy), watched The Brave Little Toaster. Had food and kindda relaxed the whole day. I feel so much better, so I will most deffinitaly be in school tomorrow.

This weekend is going to be sort of good and sort of not. I am going up to visit my moms best friend and her family. We are going to Cirque Du Soleil (yay). But that means I have to leave after school friday and I will get back late sunday afternoon. I love seeing them, but I dont realy want to go anywhere right now. But whatever. Ill live.

Good news is Cirque Du Soleil, I love it so much.
