Happy March!

It's been forever since the last post, but it's been a pretty hectic time.

October and November went well, nothing too out of the ordinary happened. December wasn't exactly memorable, either, but it was nice to spend part of Christmas with Doug. January started off rough, and then proceeded to get worse. And February has been a truly horrible month. So glad it's over.

February started off much the same as January. Doug got kicked out of my house - indefinitely. Later that same day I got a rejection letter from my top choice college. I spent that whole week was tense and worried.

The next week one of my friends, who has had cancer for a very long time, passed away. Practically the whole school went to his memorial service that Saturday, it was hard to see his coffin, and it is hard to accept that this has happened. I miss Ryan more than I could ever say.

Afterwards I got sick (the flu?) had a pretty alright Valentines Day with Doug. The next week or so was incredibly stressful - I had to choose to not partake in one of my favorite activities, the school musical.

On the last day of February Doug and I went to see my schools production of Footloose. I am incredibly proud of Bennett and the rest of crew, they did a fantastic job.

As for March: Doug and I went to a Gogol Bordello show. Gogol rocked, except that the entire audience was awful. I did manage to get myself elbowed in the face, and lost one of my lenses. I've essentially been blinded, until we can get them fixed later this week. Although I might just get myself new glasses. It's really horrible, being unable to see properly. But, hey, the rest of this weekend went pretty well, Doug and I worked super hard to finish all the characters, sets and pictures of the claymation story book I'm making for my culminating project. It looks pretty good so far.

Hope your last few months were better than mine!
